Native American Gene Poorbear starts our love of nature program off helping us better understand the meaning of sunrise; then we travel to meet to the Prock Elk Ranch in Montrose, Colorado to get Roger Prock's perspective of elk ranching. Qe meet renowned nature photographer John Fielder (Rocky Mountain National Park: A 100 Year Perspective; Mountain Ranges of Colorado), whose images of nature nearly take one's breath away. Next Matt Feeney, despite his disability, is a remarkable sled dog driver, who in the non-winter months uses his sled dogs to help him drive his off-road wheelchair. We close by meeting Ernest Wilkinson, an outdoor survival expert, a wildlife expert and taxidermist
