Little Hippo has fun pretending that he is a firefighter but must figure out what to do when he finds a real fire.

"Meet Lou. Lou has an important job . . . as the neighborhood toilet for dogs on their walks. Useful as he may be, he gets the feeling that deep down inside, there might be more to him than that. It is Flash's first day on the job as a fire engine, but every time he tries to pitch in, he is either too little or too late to help, until a fire erupts in the middle of town and he is the only one who can reach it.
